Traci joined Textron in 2013, with the majority of her career focused on Environmental Health and Safety. She worked at Textron Aviation supporting the manufacturing floor, which included reviewing workplace injuries and assisting with the return-to-work process. In 2018, Traci moved to Textron’s corporate office where she had responsibility for OSHA/EPA (and equivalent) compliance throughout Textron’s global operations. Over time, her role expanded into managing the workers’ compensation accounting process. In 2024, Traci assumed full responsibility managing Textron’s occupational (workers’ compensation) and non-occupational (short- and long-term disability, FMLA) disability programs, as well as its enterprise wellbeing programs and initiatives. Traci earned both her MBA and bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Penny Gilbert
Strategic Sourcing Agent - Specialist

Penny has worked for Textron Aviation (Cessna Aircraft Company) and Textron Inc., since 2000 and is herself a graduate of Textron’s Disability Management Bootcamp. During her first 17+ years with the company, Penny’s areas of responsibility included oversight of Textron Aviation’s onsite medical clinics, pre-employment physicals, return to work, workers compensation claims management, disability management, and wellness programming. Her role required knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and DOT standards and regulations as well as various state laws. While in this role, Penny assisted in the deployment of a robust permanent placement process, physical ability testing, an absence management program, and an award-winning wellness program. Penny has since transferred to the Indirect Center of Excellence (ICoE) and now deals directly with the vendors of health and medical benefits, disability management, and wellness services from a procurement and supplier management perspective. In addition, Penny has been instrumental in establishing onsite wellness centers and pharmacies at two of Textron’s business units.

Nathan Perkins
Disability and Wellbeing Specialist

Nate joined the Textron Corporate EHS team in July 2024. In this role, Nate works with our occupational and non-occupational disability vendors on the management of claims. He also helps coordinate various enterprise wellbeing initiatives in support of our Achieve 2025 goals. Prior to joining Textron, Nate was a Regional Claims Supervisor at PMA Management Corp where he managed a team of workers’ compensation claims analysts providing claims services in multiple jurisdictions across the country. In this role, he focused on developing contributors on his team and ensuring client’s needs and performance goals were being met. Nate has a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from St. John’s University.

Mark is a partner in the Texas law firm WATSON, CARAWAY, MIDKIFF & LUNINGHAM, L.L.P. Mark received his undergraduate and law degrees from Baylor University. After graduating from law school, Mark served as briefing attorney for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1982 to 1989. Mark is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Tarrant County Bar Association and has earned the "AV" rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Mark has also been representing Bell Helicopter Textron for a number of years.

Marc Wilkenfeld, M.D.
Chief, Division of Occupational Medicine
NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island
Marc is a board-certified occupational medicine physician specialized in workers exposed to chemicals. He is Chief of the Division of Occupational Medicine at NYU Langone Hospital, Long Island and Medical Director of Occupational Health for NYU Langone Health. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, as well as an attending physician at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Wilkenfeld has worked in evaluating health risks following the World Trade Center disaster.
